Description
- Lead and manage marketing programs and business development initiatives for CPI SMP products, including but not limited to, Satellite Communication High Power amplifiers with Vacuum Electron Devices (VEDs) and Solid State technology, High Voltage X-ray Generators and related products.
- Lead and manage the business development team located at the Georgetown site.
- Provide overall guidance and strategy to achieve, or exceed, orders budget for Medical Products globally and assigned region(s)/products for Satcom Products.
- Support Field Sales and Customer Support with customer requests, quotations, meetings, and initiatives.
- Review product requirements with customer; prepare and negotiate customer specifications for development programs.
- Maintain accurate and regularly updated rolling forecast of opportunities within assigned regions.
- Guide new strategies for product development and market launch, working closely with business development/product managers.
- Develop new market opportunities while protecting existing market share.
- Provide internal expertise on new products and applications, as they relate to customer needs and market trends. Maintain thorough knowledge of existing products, with respect to product specifications/applications and target markets.
- Monitor global business performance and markets and develop strategies to address trends, opportunities and challenges.
- Prepare and submit timely and thorough trip reports, customer meeting reports and month end activity reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or equivalent demonstrated experience
- Minimum 3-5 years recent and direct experience in related product lines is an asset.
- Minimum 5 years managing direct reports in a business development, sales, and marketing capacity
- Results driven, highly motivated, energetic, very organized.
- Ability to negotiate, both internally and externally, to reasonably meet customer expectations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoys building relationships.
